1. Eligibility

• The contest is open to individuals aged 18 years or older as of the contest start date.
• Participants must reside within a reasonable traveling distance to Statesboro, Georgia, as transportation to the destination is not included.
• Employees, officers, and directors of Visit Statesboro, their immediate family members, and individuals living in the same household are not eligible to participate.
• Void where prohibited by law.

2. Contest Period

• The contest begins on February 23, 2025, at 12:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) and ends on July 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST.

3. How to Enter

• Participants must complete and submit the official entry form available online.
• Required information includes full name, city and state of residence, and email address.
• Limit one entry per person. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.

4. Prize Details
One (or more, as determined) winner(s) will receive:

• A two-night stay at either Hampton Inn or Home2 Suites in Statesboro.
  • Please note that hotel stays are subject to availability, and blackout dates may apply. In the event that the selected hotel is unavailable on the designated prize dates due to blackout dates or other constraints, Visit Statesboro reserves the right to offer alternative dates or accommodations at its discretion.
• Admission for up to 4 people to:
  • Georgia Southern University Center for Wildlife Education.
  • Splash in the Boro Waterpark (available during summer months).
  • Blackwater Preserve for kayaking adventures.
• Local restaurant gift cards (specific details to be confirmed).
• Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items.
• Prize Expiration: Winners must redeem their prizes within one (1) year of being notified of their win. Unredeemed prizes after this period will be forfeited.

Prize value will be finalized and disclosed before the contest launch.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

• Winner(s) will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the contest period.
• Winner(s) will be notified via the email address provided in their entry form within 7 days of the contest end date.
• If the winner does not respond within 5 business days, an alternate winner will be selected.
• Public announcement of the winner(s) will be made on Visit Statesboro’s social media channels.

6. Prize Delivery

• Hotel booking details will be emailed to the winner(s).
• Other prizes must be picked up at the Visit Statesboro Visitor Center upon arrival.
• Visit Statesboro is not responsible for any travel or incidental costs incurred by the winner(s).

7. General Conditions
By entering, participants agree to:

• Comply with these terms and conditions.
• Allow Visit Statesboro to use their name, city, and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
• Weather and Attraction Availability Disclaimer: Visit Statesboro is not responsible for weather-related cancellations, disruptions, or the unavailability of attractions included in the prize package. In the event that adverse weather or other circumstances result in the cancellation or limited availability of any attractions, Visit Statesboro will not be liable for any losses or additional costs incurred by the winner(s).
• Visit Statesboro reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the contest.

8. Limitation of Liability

• General: By participating in this contest, entrants agree that Visit Statesboro, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or in connection with participation in the contest or the receipt, use, or misuse of any prize. This includes, but is not limited to, any claims for personal injury, property damage, or loss.
• Release and Indemnification: Participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Visit Statesboro from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to their participation in the contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
• No Liability for Third-Party Services: Visit Statesboro is not responsible for any issues related to third-party services, including travel arrangements, hotel accommodations, or attraction availability. Any claims, losses, or damages related to these third-party services are the sole responsibility of the participant.
• No Consequential Damages: In no event shall Visit Statesboro be liable for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including any loss of profits, revenue, or data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Privacy Policy

• Visit Statesboro respects your privacy. Personal data collected during the contest will be used solely for the purposes of:
  • Administering the contest.
  • Adding participants to Visit Statesboro’s email database for future marketing communications.
• Personal information will not be sold, shared, or disclosed to any third parties or outside agencies, except as required by law.
• Participants may opt out of receiving marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the email.

10. Disputes

• Any disputes arising from this contest will be resolved under the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Participants agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Bulloch County, Georgia.
