The SCVB is guided by an elected board representing the City and County along with colleagues in the hospitality industry. Board meetings are held at the SCVB office the first Wednesday of each month at 8 a.m. unless otherwise posted.

Tourism is one of the top industries in Statesboro. In 2016, it supported 1175 jobs and generated $139.9 million in direct tourism spending. This provided $384 in tax relief per Bulloch County household. The SCVB advances the economic vitality and quality of life for residents and visitors.
